Professor Godwin Tunde Arosanyin is a Professor of Economics with specialization in Transport Economics. He got both his BSc & MSc Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1989 and 1994 respectively; and his PhD in Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2001. 

Prof. Arosanyin has over thirty years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy in transport, infrastructure, transport corridor and development issues. He has worked on projects funded by Governments in Nigeria (State and Federal) and International Development Agencies/Partners (e.g., USAID/MARKETS/Nathan Associates Inc, DFID/NIAF), and the private sector.

Arosanyin, as a researcher and consultant, has successfully used his analytical skills and experience in baseline studies and policy formulation in transport and transport-related issues cutting across urban transport, transport and environment; rural roads and mobility, traffic management, road safety, informal transport, road freight, railways, etc.; transport policy and planning; transport corridor development & governance structure; transport legislations; transport stakeholders’ consultations; public private partnership in infrastructure; etc. 

Prof. Arosanyin is a transport and transport –related data expert, a skill he has effectively used to assist researchers and consulting agencies. He used his skills, pro bono, in the development of Student Hostels at the University of Ilorin through PPP arrangement.
