Professor Ayodele Jimoh holds a University of Ife PhD degree in Economics following from a background of a first class honours degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria (1979), M.A. (Econs., Queen’s, Kingston, Ontario, 1981); Ph.D (Econs., OAU, Ife, 1988). He has an extensive experience in banking both at commercial banking and regulatory levels. He provides academic leadership for a wide range of research students and colleagues as a former Head of Department of Economics, University of Ilorin (2003-2005). In addition, he was a former Dean, the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences (2012-2014). Director of Unilorin Consultancy (2012); and Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences (2014-2016). He is a life member of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) and a member of The Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (IPMN).
